Naturals
Natural structural cores are obtained from specific woods with high mechanical strength and low specific weight, such as cork and balsa wood. They are usually endowed with excellent chemical resistance and neutral behaviour with temperature variations. The low thermal conductivity of this type of core gives them great potential, including fire resistance. They are used in sectors such as transport, on rail and road vehicle structures, leisure and infrastructure due to their excellent thermal-acoustic insulation capacity, as well as for boat construction (nautical).
Each natural core has its own technical characteristics and is designed for specific processes, so we recommend reading the product sheets carefully.
