Cork
Cork is a unique core material of natural origin, endowed with great versatility and stability. It is obtained from the bark of the cork tree reduced to granules, overheated and compacted into blocks using its natural glue, resulting in a panel. This product has a particular structure capable of guaranteeing low resin absorption while ensuring considerable mechanical resistance, as well as dimensional stability and lightness. Another characteristic of cork is its low thermal conductivity, which makes it a fire-resistant material but at the same time impervious to water and other agents, chemical and otherwise. Used in sectors such as transport, leisure and infrastructure, it is also able to guarantee excellent thermal-acoustic insulation and virtually unlimited durability.
