Needled
Soft needle-punched structural cores are usually used as an internal structure in composite fabrications of small dimensions or complex shapes, which cannot be reproduced with rigid sheets. Unlike other types, these internal reinforcements are able to absorb part of the resin resulting from lamination, thus guaranteeing the formation of a single structure totally integrated and bonded to the fibres and reinforcement fabrics, without substantially adding weight to the laminate. Thanks to this characteristic, it is possible to create very light products with very high mechanical standards.
