Multiaxial
In glass-fibre multiaxials, the fibres, in the form of rovings, are arranged parallel in overlapping layers, oriented in the various directions and then stitched with thin filaments to hold them together. These reinforcements are available in different orientations, from the simple biaxial at +/- 45° and at 0/90°, to the more complex quadriaxial with fibres oriented towards the four main axes.
The second column, if present in the table, contains multiaxials coupled with chopped strand mat (CSM).
