Hybrid fibers
We have a wide range of balanced hybrid fabrics, differing in weight, composition and weft type. Hybrid fabrics (carbon/aramid, glass/aramid, glass/carbon, polyester/aramid, etc.) are able to maintain the mechanical characteristics of the different types of fibres from which they are composed, while eliminating the risk of delamination that could be encountered by laminating these fabrics directly in the mould lay-up. These fabrics are carefully selected by our technical department, and thoroughly tested mechanically and practically (direct production of components in-house or tests at some of our customers’ premises) before being marketed.
Advantages
- Many combinations
- Integrable characteristics
- Low risk of delamination
- Reduced elongation
