TwinDisk®

TwinDisk® are specific fasteners for composite panels with sandwich structure, consisting of two discs welded to both ends of an internally threaded stainless steel collar. They are installed by creating a hole through the upper skin of the panel, wide enough to accept the 30 mm diameter of the lower disc, incorporating the specially adapted 40 mm upper disc. This allows for maximum grip on both composite skins, giving greater adhesion to the surface as well as a more even distribution of applied shear and tensile loads.
