Methacrylates

Methacrylate adhesives are the ideal product for making structural joints on stainless steel, aluminium, general metals, composite materials (epoxy bases, polyesters, vinylesters), polycarbonate and most industrial plastics including acrylics, ABS, PVC, PET. They are normally available with different curing times and do not require the use of primers, guaranteeing long-lasting bonding even for high thicknesses. They have the same sealing characteristics as a classic weld, but without the risk of burning, deformation or distortion. Moreover, they have a density such that they can be used in high thicknesses as well as on vertical parts. After complete hardening, they guarantee excellent resistance to solvents, hydrocarbons, lubricants, chemical detergents, salt, weak acids and bases, and liquids in general, and become chemically inert and non-conductive.
