Spray
Spray adhesives consist of a range of glues or resins contained in aluminium containers under pressure. The method of dispensing by nebulisation through a nozzle allows them to be applied quickly in very thin layers for bonding materials to which one does not want to add weight and thickness, without affecting the original properties. The adoption of this type of adhesive facilitates certain processes such as the coating of pre-existing parts or lamination by infusion, considerably reducing process times. They can also be used for the temporary fixing of auxiliary products, as well as for the pre-laying of certain types of structural cores. In the case of moulding with pre-impregnated fabrics, the use of these products can guarantee an easier laying of the reinforcements, simplifying the positioning work; they are also useful in the assembly of boats; they are also available in drums.
EPOXY
Tack intensifying adhesives based on epoxy resins are used for the positioning of fabrics, preforms or internal cores in pre-preg, infusion, classic or light RTM and VARTM moulding processes. Their chemical composition ensures the least possible contamination of the laminate, without any deterioration in the mechanical performance of the part. To meet any production need, Mates offers epoxy tackifiers in liquid or spray form: the dispensing method by nebulisation through a nozzle allows for rapid application in very thin layers for bonding materials to which you do not want to add weight and thickness, without affecting the original properties; liquid adhesives, on the other hand, can be applied directly by roller or brush.

GENERAL ADHESIVES
Adhesives are available in three different formats: aerosol cans, canisters and drums. Aerosol cans are the ultimate in convenience and practicality; they are portable, easy to use and require no additional equipment. Cylinders are self-contained and pressurised, portable and require minimal investment, equipment and maintenance. TensorGrip® adhesives feature an innovative formula that melts on contact with styrene-based resins, breaking down the barriers found in traditional bonding methods. The revolutionary formulas allow the adhesive’s drying time to be kept to a minimum, so TensorGrip® can speed up the workflow and drastically reduce production time, while guaranteeing the same effective bonding power.
