Additives

This category includes additives for accelerating and retarding resins, capable of altering the speed of a chemical process. The use of accelerators makes it possible to manage the hardening times of an epoxy system according to production needs, only indirectly influencing its qualitative-quantitative result; used exclusively in applications with low temperatures, they require well-defined mixing percentages in relation to them. Accelerators lead to an increase in reactivity and accelerate the polymerization of epoxy systems, ensuring an increase in the rigidity and resilience of the finished product. In addition to these articles, particular additives must also be added which can be used to modify the compatibility between different resins, and to vary some of their properties.
