They are widely considered superior to all other types both for surface hardness and for the degree of finish they can guarantee. We also recommend making the molds in epoxy resin in such a way as to obtain maximum adhesion between the substrates, practically zero elongation even in molds at high temperatures and practically infinite life of the mold itself.
